With Federal Prison Prep & Consultations by PRISON PRINCIPLES You Will Be...

PREPARED!

Preparing for an inevitable federal prison sentence can be a confusing and scary time. Let me help you navigate this time with consultations on four critical pillars Pre-Sentencing, Preparing for Self-Surrender, What to Expect Inside, and Re-Entry.

My Mission Is

Your Peace Of Mind

My goal is to provide peace of mind to individuals and families facing federal incarceration in the Northern District of Georgia by providing non-legal preparative consultation. I aim to bridge the gap between sentencing and self-surrender by offering insight into the Low Security level of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), institutional adjustment, and personal readiness. This service operates as a vital supplement to your legal defense team and is not to be taken as legal advice or strategy. My sole focus is equipping you with practical insights and the emotional framework necessary to transition through this period with dignity, safety, and knowledge.

Information For Defense Counsel

This consultation service by design reduces the administrative and client management burden for defense counsel by providing practical non-legal preparation and information necessary to ease client anxiety and ensure they are fully ready to navigate the BOP, specifically Low Security level institutions, should incarceration appear likely or unavoidable. All advice and information provided is intended to be supplementary and non-contradictory to legal counsel. Referrals to Federal Prison Prep & Consultations can provide a reliable and ethical service to your client with a goal of reducing client anxiety and encouraging an optimal client profile while preparing them for their sentence.

Our Counseling Focuses on

The Four Pillars

Pre-Sentencing: This pillar focuses on answering questions you may have before your Pre-Sentencing Report is completed and includes concerns that you may need to be asking your counsel.Preparing for Self Surrender: Here we discuss what you should be thinking about in preparation for self-surrendering in order to create an easier transition to prison and re-entry.What To Expect Inside: This pillar addresses the most anxiety inducing aspects people struggle with when facing a federal prison term...navigating prison life.Re-Entry: What should you expect upon release? You have reached the end of your custodial sentence, what now? Here we discuss critical areas like halfway house, Federal Probation, Sex Offender Treatment, and the psychological impacts of re-entry.

About Me

My name is James and I was previously incarcerated for 18 months in a BOP FCI Low Security Federal Prison in Georgia for a non-violent offense. While inside I kept notes of my experiences and observations in order to provide some of the guidance that I wish I had before and during and after my sentence. During this time, I observed the personalities and habits that create the most successful inmates and observed many pitfalls that should be avoided. Based on my experience I have advanced insight in regard to what one should be doing to prepare for their sentence, what life is like on the inside, the characteristics of the model inmate (and why that is important) and possibly the most overlooked aspect: what to expect during re-entry.I created this consultation service to promote readiness and help give peace of mind to those specifically facing an inevitable sentence in the BOP Low Security Prison system and their families. The counseling sessions are approached in an empathetic non-judgmental manner and take the form of simple conversations in which I allow the clients to ask me their most pressing questions, to which I answer to the level of my personal experience and knowledge. Clients can expect to walk away from these consultation sessions armed with more information and insight, and hopefully some relief and confidence.I know the overwhelming weight of facing a prison sentence, I've experienced it first hand—the uncertainty, the fear, and the endless questions. You don't have to carry that alone. Using my own firsthand experience, I am here to help guide you, your family, or your client into this journey with clarity to help create a manageable path forward.

Let me help you by demystifying what lies ahead. We will address the fears, anxieties, and uncertainties by discussing the realities of incarceration and strategies to maintain mental well-being before surrender and during your incarceration. While I was facing my federal sentence, I often wished there was someone with firsthand experience that could tell me what to expect inside and the other things that I didn't even know to consider. I want to be that person for you.Facing a prison term is a unique journey, and every situation requires a tailored approach. If you aren't sure where to start, reach out for a confidential, no-obligation conversation. We will look at where you are in the process and find the right level of support together.
